There and back again: Scientific adventures in Puerto Rico.

Experience the trials and triumphs of tropical field work as Samantha recounts her experience recording songbirds in Puerto Rico for her MSc project. Samantha will include a brief introduction to songbirds, their vocalizations, and why the Bird Song Lab at the University of Lethbridge is interested in studying them. A scientific study told through photos and anecdotes, Samantha's presentation will whisk you away from Lethbridge's chilly coulees to the dry tropical forests of Puerto Rico where birdsong fills the early morning and iguanas drop on your head.
