This Saturday, we'll be venturing into the hinterlands east of town in search of the Snow Goose. And more Snow Geese. Even tens of thousands if we're lucky! The biannual Snow Goose migration ranks among the greatest avian spectacles in Alberta. And we'll stop and look at other birds too.
But fair warning—if it turns out that we fail to cross paths with (m)any Snow Geese, the trip leaders will undoubtedly try to gaslight the group into supposing that we actually signed up for a Tundra Swan chase, or an American Coot chase, or perhaps a hay bale chase. It depends on what we see.
If you'd like to join us, meet at the south side Safeway at 9am. Participation is free and open to all.
